Where to go - What to do
The house is located in such an amazing, cosmopolitan place and offers easy access to close well known islands like Hydra and Spetses with nightlife and VIP’s. Also it is only one hour trip to Epidaurus where is located the famous ancient theater where every summer famous stars like Helen Mirren, Kevin Spacey and directors like Sum Mentes giving Theater performances in a Festival of tragedies and comedies. Close also to the house only 15 minutes in Porto Heli, there are big hotels and restaurants and water edge cafes as also boats, ferries and water taxis for excursions.
Epidavros Festival
The Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus is situated within the archaeological site of the Sanctuary of Asklepios, in the Argolis prefecture of the Peloponnese. It is an hour drive from our villa. Tickets for the ancient tragedy or comedy festival can be booked upon request.
Water sports
The tranquil waters of the bay provide ideal conditions for the full range of watersports including sailing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, paragliding and jet skiing. The area features excellent amenities, while the small beautiful pine-fringed bays with sandy beaches offer scenic backdrops for day trips and exploration.
Water fun park
Available at the beach of "AKS Hotel" at Porto Heli bay. Safe place for kids, supervising from lifequard.
Scuba dive
Porto Heli dive base located a short drive from Porto Heli, at the port. The warm, crystalline waters offer exceptional visibility with a wide range of marine flora and fauna. They offer all the levels of scuba diver, providing individual or group tuition in different languages.
Daily excursions
A variety of destinations offered from local boats. Daily excursions to Monemvasia, Hydra, Spetses, Poros or Nafplio are available.
Water taxi
Hire a water taxi from Porto Heli or Costa to visit any island you want or beach, even to go to your favorite beach front restaurant. Prices from 25-200€ depents on the agreement with the taxi-captain.
Visit Hydra island
Take a boat to Hydra or drive through Metohi (half an hour from our villa) and then take the ferry. Enjoy the unique scenic and walk around the historical city.
Visit Spetses island
Take the ferry or a water-taxi from Costa to Spetses. This is VIP'S place, with cosmopolitan life, nice shops for shopping, restaurants and bars for nightlife.
Visit Nafplio
One hour driving from Porto Heli is the city of Nafplio. Great and historical place, nice to walk through the streets of the old town. Taverns, restaurants, shops and tourists from every nationality.
Visit Mycenae
King Agamemnon, was king of Mycenae. He led the Greeks in their ten year conflict against Troy. Drive 20 minutes from the city of Nafplio to meat the great poer Homer and his heroes
